Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $65 – $70 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery for a 13-week contract in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maternal and child healthcare, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. This role requires the ability to scrub and circulate while delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized nursing care for labor and delivery patients.
- Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation as needed.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, responding to complications promptly.
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards.
Qualifications: - Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
- Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
- Experience in scrub and circulate roles within Labor & Delivery.
- Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
